Coopersburg's Sunday Market Closed for the Season. Hausman Fruit Farm Keeps the Calendar Going Through the Tree Lighting.

Two of Coopersburg's fall routines ended on the same day. The Coopersburg Farmers Market wrapped up its outdoor season on Sunday, November 1, after running Sundays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 5 North Main Street since May 17. Hausman Fruit Farm's 2026 Fall Festival, which started September 26, closed that same day. From now until early December, most of the town's events either happen at the farm on Limeport Pike or include the farm. That includes the borough's own tree lighting on Main Street, where Hausman runs the hayride.

If your weekend plans used to start at the market tent, here's how the next five weeks fit together.

Four Saturdays and One Weekend in the Barn

Here are the dates Hausman lists on its events page between now and the first weekend of December, plus the town event it joins:

  1. Saturday, November 7, 7 to 10 p.m. Line Dancing on the Farm with DJ Dan in the barn. Tickets are $5 per person, lessons are included, the bar serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and small grab-and-go foods are for sale.
  2. Saturday and Sunday, November 14 and 15, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Christmas Market on the Farm in the heated barn.
  3. Saturday, November 28, 6 to 8 p.m. The Coopersburg Tree Lighting, where Hausman runs the hayride and sells food.
  4. Saturday, December 5, 7 to 10 p.m. Line dancing again, same format and same $5 ticket.

Line dancing is a monthly event that has run all year. Hausman holds it on the first Saturday of each month, and the 2026 list starts in July and goes through December. On November 7, the first Saturday after the outdoor market's last Sunday, the barn is open again.

The Christmas Market Is the Biggest Farm Event Before Thanksgiving

The Christmas Market on the Farm is the largest event on this list before Thanksgiving. Hausman describes it as a Christmas craft show held at the farm, which is home to farm animals, a bakery, a farm store and a distillery. Artisans and crafters fill the barn, and the farm store, bakery and distillery stay open that weekend, along with gift baskets.

The market lands on November 14 and 15, which leaves a free weekend before Thanksgiving week. Anyone who used Sunday mornings on North Main Street for small gift shopping can make that same trip in the barn. The hours are a bit longer than the farmers market's: 11 to 3 instead of 10 to 1.

Hausman also lists a 2026 "A Country Christmas with the Hausmans" on the same page, and its dates and times will be posted there. The farm describes it as an old-fashioned family Christmas with:

  • Hayrides through the orchard with lighted scenes
  • Photos with Santa
  • Hot apple dumplings, hot chocolate and cider
  • S'mores by the campfire
  • Movies in the barn
  • Lights and dancing
  • Hot food concessions and an open distillery

The hayride in that list also appears in town on November 28.

November 28: The Farm Comes to Main Street

The Borough of Coopersburg's calendar has the Fire Company Tree Lighting on Saturday, November 28, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, from 6 to 8 p.m. The Coopersburg Fire Company and the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce put it on together. The borough describes craft vendors, pictures with Santa, a gingerbread decorating contest and the lighting of the Fire Company tree.

The Chamber's 2026 tree lighting page adds more detail. It lists more than 25 craft and business vendors, a hayride with Hausman Fruit Farm, Santa photos with Lindsey Lerch Photography, live reindeer, and poinsettia sales that benefit the Southern Lehigh Scholarship Fund. The Grinch is scheduled to visit from 6:30 to 7:30. Here's the stage schedule from that page:

Time On the schedule
6:00 p.m. Santa arrives
6:20 to 6:30 p.m. Live demo from Viper Martial Arts
6:30 to 6:50 p.m. Girl Scouts Choir
7:00 to 7:20 p.m. Southern Lehigh Competition Cheer Team
7:30 to 7:50 p.m. DJ Riley
7:55 p.m. Announcements and tree lighting

The lighting itself is at 7:55, near the end of the two hours. If you only want to see the tree, you can arrive late. If you want the hayride or reindeer before the crowd gathers near the tree, arrive close to 6.

Who's Selling Food

The food and drink vendors on the Chamber's list are mostly Coopersburg businesses that will be familiar to locals:

  • Hausman Fruit Farms
  • Sage Alley Brewery, which lists its brewery, food menu and event space at 213 North Main Street
  • Good Jake's, at 13 S. Main St.
  • Jaquelyn's on Main, listed at 201 N. Main St.
  • Wind Hill Winery
  • Mama's Majik Kitchen

The farmers market is on the Chamber's list too, as one of the craft and local business vendors. So on November 28, the Sunday market and Hausman Fruit Farm both set up on Main Street, four weeks after both closed their fall seasons on the same day. Other listed craft and business vendors include Action Karate, Tania's Crafts Handmade, Mia Bella's Gourmet Candles, Valley Stone Jewelery, Saint James Lutheran Church, Pins & Needles 537, Can Do Candles and Passante Food Services.

A New Place to Eat on East Station Avenue

On the five Saturdays and Sundays that don't have a farm or town event, there's a new restaurant in town. WFMZ reported on October 28 that a second location of Brothers Tacos opened that week at 565 E. Station Ave. Brothers Wilson and Marvin Gomez opened the original restaurant in March 2024 at 105 Heckman St. in Phillipsburg, and their sister, Patricia Gomez, helps run the business.

Wilson Gomez told WFMZ's 69 News:

"We're very excited. We'll offer the same menu at the new location. People love everything, but our birria tacos are the most popular."

You may already know the building. WFMZ describes the corner spot as previously home to AD's Kitchen, La Catrina Mexican restaurant and, most recently, Coopersburg Bagels & Deli. The Gomezes renovated before opening. The Coopersburg dining room seats about 45, compared with 36 in Phillipsburg, and both locations offer seasonal outdoor dining. With the weather getting colder, the indoor seating will matter more for now.

After the Tree Lighting, Back to Borough Hall

The farmers market's last indoor season moved inside Borough Hall at 5 N Main St. That 2025/26 winter market ran every other Sunday from December 21, 2025, through March 29, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The schedule for this winter will be on the Coopersburg Farmers Market website.
